Information and Communications Technology, like any other scientific-technical discipline, encompasses multiple knowledge and techniques that can be summarized in the OSI Model (Open Systems Interconnection Model).

A holistic view of ICT is achieved when this model is well known and has been put into practice by participating in interdisciplinary projects, carrying out tasks with different roles in the different layers of the model and, above all, learning the interfaces that exist between these layers.

ACTel has participated in projects for the development and deployment of client-server software, in the management and deployment of infrastructure for private and public corporate networks, which include Internet access and transit platforms, as well as Hosting infrastructure for services published on the Internet, from its beginnings to the advent and consolidation of the SaaS and IaaS platforms that make up the services currently provided through the Cloud.

The experience accumulated in the various activities carried out, both strictly technological and those of ICT management and business, has been shared when addressing an R&D&I project to obtain our own innovative product for the Internet of Things (IoT), and the experience gained in this project now allows us to offer ICT product development services to our clients.
